Water supply interruption in Temba and surrounding areas

Residents of Temba and surrounding areas are informed of a water supply interruption due to take place tomorrow, 12 February, from 8:00 until Wednesday, 13 February 2019 at 8:00. During this period, the City will shut-down the Temba Water Purification Plant in order to allow the contractor to undertake the following:

Roaming water tankers will be arranged to supply residents in the affected areas with water. 

Roaming water tankers will be arranged to supply residents in the affected areas with water. The City of Tshwane apologises for any inconvenience that might arise as a result of this shutdown and upkeep.

·         Tying of the pipeline to Reservoir 4

·         Replacing the reducer, inserting

·         Repairing internal joints and testing the raw water pipeline.

The following areas will be affected:

·         Dilopye

·         New Eersterus

·         Temba

·         Babelegi Industries

·         Marokolong

·         Ramotse

·         Majaneng

·         Mandela Village

·         Sekampaneng

·         Hammanskraal.
